Recently a doctor hung a sign on his door telling anyone who voted for Obama that they should turn around and leave.
Well that's a violation of just about every medical code doctors have to sign and swear.
Frankly, I've never picked a doctor based on their political views nor do I want them to turn me aware because of mine. What's next? You don't get cold medicine if you support lower taxes? You don't get organ transplants if you vote independent? What gives this doctor, or anyone, the right to tell someone that their views make them unworthy of health, life, or happiness. This guy is setting a dangerous precedent with this kind of nonsense.
Furthermore, he now he's saying that even though he told the people to go away, he didn't really mean it, even though he is leaving the sign up. He says the people are ignoring it (thank goodness). So now he's just being an attention whore. Without the courage of his convictions he's just in it for the 15 minutes of fame. Well I hope he feel the limelight is worth selling out his medical (and human) ethics. I guess he found it hard to be famous and a good person.
I guess the rest of us w ill have to hope that our doctors don't go on some attention grabbing bender and start denying us care because they don't like our hairstyles.
